Storytelling Workshops

on Fri 9th, Sat 10th, and Sun 11th Feb 2018

 

Location: Loyola College (LS Hall, and other rooms)

Fri 9 Feb.  For College Students.

Admission to these Workshops is Free.  (There is a Rs 50 Registration Fee.)  Participants who would attend a morning and an afternoon Workshop would receive a Certificate.  Advance Registration is required (98403 94282, info@storytellinginstitute.org ). 

 

10am-12:30pm.  "Introductory Storytelling Workshops".

Up to 20 participants per Section. 

These Sections would be occurring at the same time.

One could choose a Section, preferably via email in advance

(or one would be placed in a Section).

3) "Using Storytelling to Teach and Learn Various Academic

Subjects",

4) "Storytelling as a Tool for an Elevator Pitch: Telling brief personal-

experience stories to persuade listeners to take particular courses of action",

Mohan Krishnan.

5) "Storytelling for Communication Skills",

Priyanka Chatterjee (Kolkata).

6) "Women Characters in West Asian Legends and Other Stories:

Storytelling and Role-playing",

Sandhya Ruban.

7) "Corporate Storytelling",

Shanmugasundaram.

8) "Storytelling for Personal Branding",

Yogita Ahuja (Ahmedabad).

9) "Storytelling for Exploring and Expressing One's Identity and

Mission in Life",

Numerous trainers.

Admission to these Workshops is Rs 800 per day, or Rs 1,500 for both days.

 

On both days, one could attend the morning and/or the afternoon Workshops.  One could attend one or both days: however, the 4 sessions on the 2 days have been designed as a single experience.
