Chennai Storytelling Festival  2020

is scheduled for

Fri 7th Feb - Sun 16th Feb 2020.

 

CSF 2020, the 8th edition of the CSF,

would be the "College Edition" of the CSF.

 

Almost all of the events would occur

in/with colleges.

 

Please suggest any colleges and professors

(including yourself, if this might apply to you)

who might like to host and collaborate

regarding CSF 2020 performances,

workshops, and seminars.

 

The themes of CSF 2020 (as suggested

by NYC-based Storyteller, Laura Simms,

www.laurasimms.com ), would include,

 

Providing Storytelling Training for

Performance, Education, Mediation

(Conflict Resolution), and Healing --

Focusing on Gender Issues (Equality

of Male, Female, and Other), and

Prevention of Emotional and Physical

Violence.

Creative Writing Workshops

 

Instructor: Dr Eric Miller

 

2 sections --

A) Section for People aged 13-18 years.

Weekly meetings: Sundays, 1:30pm-2:30pm.

B) Section for People aged 19 and older.

Weekly meetings: Sundays, 3pm-4pm.

 

Underway -- one could join anytime.

 

These workshops would occur primarily

via email.  The above-mentioned weekly

meetings could be attended in-person

in Alwarpet, Chennai, or via Zoom

videoconference. 

 

One could attend an initial session (for Rs 700),

and then register for 4 weeks at a time

(for Rs 2,800 for 4 weeks), for as many

4 week segments as one might like.
