Tickets:  Rs 200 per person, per evening.

 

Rs 800 for all 5 evenings!

There would be Grandmother stories, Personal-experience stories, and other types of stories.

 

For People of All Ages -- especially 7 years and older.

 

 

The themes of Chennai Storytelling Festival 2016 are:

 

1) The Big Rain of Nov/Dec 2015.

 

2) Communication between cultures, between people, and within people.  Including topics such as --  Travel.  Tourism.  Translation. “Journey” and “Path” as metaphors for life.  Visiting other lands and worlds.  Discovery and Exploration of the other, and of the self.

 

There might also be some stories on these two themes, which have been popular in this year’s Storytelling Contest:
